Our laparotomy sponges (lap sponges) are made of 100% pure cotton gauze, available in prewashed and unwashed types. Multi-layer structure options: 4ply, 8ply, 12ply, delivering stable absorption during open abdominal surgery. Built-in X-ray detectable radiopaque thread and optional blue marker loop help avoid retained gauze incidents. These surgical abdominal swabs are latex-free and EO sterilizable, with CE & ISO certifications. Custom sizes and packaging are available for hospital tenders and medical distributor projects.
